REALTORS® Legislative Meetings 2026 Expo
The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings bring together 8,000 real estate professionals in Washington, DC to conduct NAR governance work, advocate on Capitol Hill for pro-housing policies, and advance the real estate industry through education sessions and networking. This annual event features committee meetings, legislative advocacy, and a trade expo showcasing the latest real estate technology and services.
In-Person Events
Realtor Legislative Meetings (RLM), also known as NAR Mid-Year, takes place in Washington DC every year.
It’s typically smaller than NAR NXT, but don’t mistake that for lower value. The agents and brokers who invest the time to attend RLM are usually serious operators deeply involved in the business and the industry, not part-time or hobby agents.

The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings is the National Association of Realtors’ premier annual advocacy and governance event, taking place June 13-18, 2026, in Washington, DC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Marriott Marquis. This week-long gathering attracts approximately 8,000 REALTORS® and guests who unite in the nation’s capital to conduct the business of NAR and advance the real estate profession through powerful, impactful policy advocacy.
The event combines multiple critical functions for the association and industry. NAR leadership, member committees, liaisons, and regional leaders gather for governance meetings to discuss policy initiatives important to the association and the real estate industry. Members meet with their representatives on Capitol Hill to advocate for legislation addressing America’s housing affordability crisis, including expanding inventory and supply, reforming tax policy, protecting professional representation, and creating new pathways to homeownership.
The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings feature a comprehensive program including committee meetings, special issues forums, legislative activities, and educational sessions led by industry thought leaders.
The event also includes the REALTORS® Trade Expo (June 15-16), featuring over 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest products, technology, and business insights in real estate. The expo provides invaluable networking opportunities and carefully curated education sessions designed to expand members’ knowledge and professional networks.
All NAR members are welcome to attend open meetings, sessions, forums, and the Expo, with registration free for those with a valid NAR Member ID. The event particularly attracts Federal Political Coordinators (FPCs), politically active members, and those involved in NAR governance and committee work who play an active role in shaping the future of the real estate profession.
